[newbie] Mandrake text based configuration.

I am having trouble getting my Radeon SDR 32 to work with LM 8 I want to try configuring it through configure Xfree86 having loaded LM8 in text mode. What is the command for Mandrake setup? Can anyone offer any guidance?   Cliff Gosden
