I am currently a computer technician at a computer store and have been using
computers since I was in grade 2 (yay Commodor 64s!). I have installed all
the Windows OS's including Win 3.0 (which isn't an OS :)). I can't say I
have ever had PROBLEMS with installing Windows, but I know that I installed
Linux on a P166 which took me 20 minutes to get everything I wanted on the
computer with one reboot, and it takes about an hour or more to into Windows
95/98SE onto the same machine. On my home computer, I can reinstalled Linux
and be on the internet in less than 10 minutes.
Linux is MUCH faster to install, and I actually find it easier (even for a
newbie like me... new to Linux anywase)
