Using the text install (my SiS6326 card not recognized by the graphic install program), I have tried both automated and expert installs and in each case the first disk gets ejected prematurely. Strangely the install then jumps to root password and carries on to the end. I end up with a rather incomplete and unreliable installation. I never had such problems installing Mandrake 7 nor 7.1 Would be interested in any ideas on what might be happening. -- Michael
