Under the Section 'Modules', type:   Load       "glx"
then under the Section 'Device', change "nv" to "nvidia"

Then go to http://mail.lokigames.com/~heimdall/nvidia/?S=A and download the 
nv_check.sh file.  Run it in a terminal (by typing:  sh nv_check.sh) to help 
identify those mesa files you should delete (rm) or rename (mv).
