Karthigan,
SRPMS are basically the source code for an application which can be rebuilt
to a binary RPM.
The SRPM for the latest kernel is available from
ftp://sunsite.uio.no/pub/linux/Mandrake-devel/cooker/SRPMS/kernel-2.4.6-5mdk
.src.rpm
The tar.gz file (if you'd rather do it that way), can be found at
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.4/linux-2.4.7.tar.gz
As far as the 7.2 kernel source rpm, that should be on the Mandrake 7.2 CDs
that you installed from as kernel-source-*.rpm
