Hi All! I'm useing mandrake 7.2. I was dualbooting win95. I decided to re-install and
get rid of win95. win95 served me well for a long time
BUT: I got pissed off with bsod. As well looking at upgradeing $ how many times does
Bill expect people to upgrade at his prices? Ask me about AOL and what it did to my
computers. Anyway thanks Jeff Reed I think the format/mbr & format c:/u/q should help.
This is what I'm thinking. I re-installed and used both harddrives as
linux native so that win95 would be gone. Now my thinking is that if I put the win95
boot floppy in the drive and reboot the system shouldn't read it as it is no longer a
system disk. If win95 is on the computer
like down in mbr then it will read it. what I'm concerned about is that after useing
AOL I formated drive C: and reinstalled win95 (this was months ago) I kept finding a
rockwell modem driver when going to install my supra express modem. This tell me that
formating doesn't always get rid of everything.
