Hi Roman
https://127.0.0.1:10000/ doesn't work. It is only https that I cannot access.
http is okay (on localhost). This prob' with https has only been around since
I messed with the firewall but then maybe it just seems that way.
I really got my knickers in a twist over postfix. I gave up and reloaded mdk8
keeping my /home directory but the problem still persisted after reloading.
Have I got a 'tiny firewall' or a Bastille settings file sitting in my home
directory somewhere that is causing the problem, ie, firewalling https in
both root and user modes. Can I manually view the firewall config file? Would
this help? What's it's name and where is it?
I sometimes get the feeling that letting a newbie loose on Linux is rather
like setting an amateur mechanic loose on a ferari (spelling?)
Thanks
Alan
