Hi I'm having problems with OpenGL on M8 and I think it's driver related. I'm running the 12.41 nVidia drivers for my Geforce 2 MX. (Indecently the corresponding 12.41 Win2K drivers work, but are unstable. Thus the reason I'm using the 6.50 Win2k drivers). What is happening is that some times OpenGL programs work and other times not. This effects both KDE and GNome. For Instance I can Chromium fine, I try run Tux Racer it won't run, then Chromium won't run any more either. I restart the whole machine and then nothing runs. I restart again and try Tux and it works, but then Chromium won't. I can't see any pattern causing the problem. If I change the driver from 'nvidia' to 'nv' everything runs normally but it is sooooooo slow. If anyone can help or point me in the direction of old nvidia drivers for M8 I would greatly appreciate it. Robert MacLean
