The AudioGalaxy-supplied binary is only to enable uploads. Once that is
loaded (after setting the config file correctly), you can log into
audiogalaxy.com and download music from your browser. The AudioGalaxy client
will take care of the actual downloading for you.

If you don't want to use a web page to request downloads, you can use a
number of independently-developed GUIs. I have tried Xsatellite, but I found
it to be very limiting. The best client, IMHO, can be found at
http://agqt.sourceforge.net/. It is the most full-featured, yet is very
simple to use, despite being console-based. For example, you can enter an
artist name and the name of one of their albums, and it will search an online
music database and fetch the entire album from AudioGalaxy. You can even
specify the maximum and minimum bitrates that you require.
