I second that vote of thanx to Sridhar. I am going to use reiser when 8.1 comes out. I am running too stable and smooth to mess with my system at present, but I'm keeping my ears open, so that I will be as informed as I can be, when I'm ready to take the plunge. Oh yeah, I picked up some good advice from Sridhar about GNOME, which I was having trouble with and now I am using it almost exclusively. Sometimes, even if I don't understand fully what is being discussed, just knowing that someone else has something working properly, gives me encouragement to keep trying. I figure, if they can do it so can I. I am a slow but stubborn student. Of course this theory can only stretch as far as the similarity of our systems. The capability of the grey matter, is not as important, since the information is shared. This list is way cool!
