Thanks civilme, I'm not going to use this .gif thing for my daily use. It's just an assignment from school about producing a gif animated banner. I know this is an easy piece if I did it in windogs, but since I love my mandrake/linux box, I was just wondering if mandrake/linux provides such software. I looked at GIMP help directory and found that this software could make a .gif animation. does anyone know where I can get any help or manual for GIMP specifically chapter about .gif animation? Thanks for the answer regards, Andrew On Thu, 16 Aug 2001 11:35, civileme wrote: > On Wednesday 15 August 2001 13:18, Andrew wrote: > > what is the best software for creating a GIF animated banner? > > Thanks for the help. > > > > regards, > > Andrew > > Anything that works with .mng > > > Don't use .gif.
