Do you need a second card? I thought you could just place display 1 on a different tty. For example, if display 0 is on tty7 (accessible with ctrl-alt-F7) than you can put display 1 on tty8 (accessible with ctrl-alt-F8). I haven't tried it with different X displays, but I can do this with VMware virtual machines.
