Actually this one is rather obvious... Just DON'T auto allocate. The installer is VERY confused because you are trying to install everything on a secondary hard drive. The boot loader wants to be on the primary, as does the /boot partition. You CAN do this, but Lilo (afaik grub doesn't do this though I may be wrong) needs a lot of help. I've helped others do this in the past, and the best solution IMHO is to use the Lilo drive "trick" which remaps the drives at startup. This lets each OS think that it owns the boot drive.
