Michael, did you install 8.0 before or after you bought the Voodoo? 8.0 finds
the Voodoo 3000 (is it AGP or PCI, btw?), and will automagically install 3d
acceleration. You did pick XFree 4.03 and hardware accel. when it asked,
right?
If you added the Voodoo after your 8.0 installation, you can still add
acceleration. Click the Mandrake Control Center icon from your desktop, then
pick "display", pick your settings, and use expert mode. That -should- set
your card up.
