The usual advice is to install Windoze first, but you don't have to.
If you install Linux first, just make sure you make a boot floppy and
that your bios allows for booting from floppy. Then when you install,
or if you later need to re-install Windoze, and it erases lilo (or
grub) from the MBR (master boot record), you can boot Linux from the
floppy and re-install lilo (or grub) to the MBR. If for some reason you
loose your Linux boot floppy, you can use your Linux install CD to
re-install a bootloader (assuming you can boot from CD).
