I installed Kylix Open Edition without a problem on M8. In fact it has
been one of the easiest things to install on linux ever. it also runs
like a dream.
There is a script that comes with kylix that checks your machine to
make sure you have everything correct before you install and tells you
what you need if you are missing anything or have the wrong version.
