I have the exact same modem. I couldn't find anyway of getting it going in linux so I bought an external serial modem which worked instantly with no probs. I haven't even removed the offending piece of #@! equipment yet... its sitting inside the box doing absolutely nothing... waiting until I get another pc for our surveillance system that only runs in Windows.
