No....its the 3CP5699A, it says "made specially for the Windows operating system" on the box. I need "3cmlnkw.exe" in Win to get it to work. I tried the PCTel chipset driver, loaded the serial and ppp modules and got the modem responding in minicom, but I get an I/O error when I try to dial with it. I've done setserial /dev/ttyS2 irq 9 io e800 ......, but no response, also in kppp. It's definitely a software modem. [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: >Whata PCTel chipset is on your 3Com modem?
