You should have a pull-down menu when you are presented with the login
screen, a menu that lists all your installed window managers. When
you installed Mandrake, did you by any chance set it to auto-login,
so that you don't see the login screen? If so, try logging out instead
of shutting down or rebooting, and you should get the screen.

If you increase your security level, you won't be able to auto-login,
which is probably a Good Thing anyway. At least that's how I remember
it from 8.0.
