-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 KMail uses GnuPG by default. GnuPG should already be installed but you need to create a public/private keypair before you can use it with KMail. Consult man gpg for creating the keypair. Once this is done, to sign and/or encrypt you click on the appropriate icons in the KMail toolbar. You will probably want KMail to always encrypt a copy to yourself so you will need to go into KMail options and check the box "Always encrypt to self" (this only happens when you send encrypted messages). I hope I didn't leave out any info here but this should get you started. And, welcome to the world of encryption.
