Hi All of a sudden all my desktop Icons are gone, I also can select the desktop itself (drag left mouse button over desktop), right click. It's almost like the desktop is gone. I'm using the version of gnome that comes with M8.1 I looked in ~/.gnome-desktop and they are there. Any ideas? Also how do I create icons in gnome?
