Michael, I had problems with Konqueror the other day (nothing to do with the nsplugins tho). It might pay to check this file which affects starting KDE: ~/.kde/share/config/ksmserverrc Remove any references to Konqueror. For example, this is my ksmserverrc after removing the konqueror stuff: [General] confirmLogout=true saveSession=false screenCount=1 [Session] count=3 discardCommand1= discardCommand2= discardCommand3=rm,/home/skinky/.kde/share/config/konsole:11c0a800010001004 67759100000072210021 program1=konsole restartCommand1=konsole,-session,11c0a80001000100467759100000072210021 restartStyleHint1=0 restartStyleHint2=0 restartStyleHint3=0 userId1=skinky userId2=skinky userId3=skinky Prior to editing this file a few days ago, it looked something like: [General] confirmLogout=true saveSession=false screenCount=1 [Session] count=3 discardCommand1= discardCommand2= discardCommand3=rm,/home/skinky/.kde/share/config/konsole:11c0a80001000100467759100000072210021 program1=konqueror program2=konsole restartCommand1=konqueror,-session,117f000001000100277312700000030290000 restartCommand2=konsole,-session,11c0a80001000100467759100000072210021 restartStyleHint1=0 restartStyleHint2=0 restartStyleHint3=0 userId1=skinky userId2=skinky userId3=skinky It worked for me. If you don't have any references to konqueror in this file, I'm no help at all and I just wasted your time ; ) Good luck. skinky -- But what ... is it good for?
