Okay has anyone ever setup nfs using mandrake7.2
i am trying to get my larger system to run as a nfs server.
... and for some odd reason alot of the stuff in the nfshowto isnt working
(findind nfsd, nfs, mountd... etc)
so i need to know howto find, or install the following
1. mountd (and get it running so that rpcinfo -p shows it)
2. nfs (and get it running so that rpcinfo -p shows it)
i know i have portmap (shows up with rpcinfo -p), and when i start up it
does mention somethings about nfs, and i do have a program called nfslock in
/etc/rc.d/init.d/ but to no avail, this nfs thing isnt working for me
** below is what happens when i try to do /etc/rc.d/init.d/nfslock start**
Starting NFS file locking services:
Starting NFS lockd: lockdsvc: Function not implemented
[FAILED]
Starting NFS statd: [ OK ]
