Hello List,
I have a quick question that someone has to have encountered???
My problem is that I am trying to set up a box with 8.1 and trying to
configure my dial up account and it hangs up on me once it logs on??
When I dial-up and then watch my messages.. tail -f /var/log/messages it
shows me the following error:
Connect: ppp0 <--> dev/modem
Modem Hangup
Connection terminated
So why am I getting this message?? I cant seem to find minicom either?? Is
it not included in Mandrake?? I am use to it in Redhat but cannot find it on
8.1?? What can I do to fix this?? Any ideas..
Here is the specs on my system:
AMD 1.2G, 512RAM, VooDoo 5500AGP, Iwill K266plus MB, SB Live 3Com
PCI modem.. model # 3CP5610???
Well give me any advice you all have??
