Right click on your desktop. Choose "Create New" then "Link to Application". Under the "Application" block type "Opera". Open the "Execute" Block and type "opera" in the Command block. On the "General" block click on the gear icon. The Select Icon window will open, the "System Applications" box should be checked. The "Applications" drop down will open, loading the icons as it does so. Scroll down and click on the icon for "Opera". Then choose o.k. and exit. When kde restarts the icon will be there. You can open the Configuration in the start menu, then Other, then use MenuDrake to add it to your Networking, www section also.
