The only problem with most firewalls, atleast mine, is that if you do a scan within your 'intranet' all ports(well not all, but the important ones) will be found open. You need to have someone outside of your network do the scan. If I was the run the app within, then it would show that the firewall is WIDE open. On the internet, well differenet story. >From: "Franki" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: RE: [newbie] Hack My Linux >Date: Tue, 20 Nov 2001 23:40:34 +0800 > >yes, seach for superscan > >download it and run it in windows somewhere other then your box, and scan >it,, it will do the whole 64000 ports.. > >quiet good for a freebie, thats what I use to test my installs. > >rgds > >Frank > >-----Original Message----- >From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Sren Neigaard >Sent: Tuesday, 20 November 2001 3:17 PM >To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Subject: Re: [newbie] Hack My Linux > > >Strange you never find a portscanner that can scan all your ports, have >your ever seen souch one? > >/Sren > >On Wed, 2001-11-21 at 05:25, Grant Fraser wrote: > > http://www.mycgiserver.com/~kalish/ > > This link was posted nov 5. > > Be afraid > > Be very afraid > > > > On November 19, 2001 05:04 pm, you wrote: > > > Hi! > > > > > > I have done some secure issue in my Linux Server.
