Hi, Maybe someone can explain what are the SRPMS? I usually install programs from a .tar.bz2 file, using the 'configure, make, make install' sequence. What should I do with the other files that I find the SRPM? (Especially the SPEC files, and the patches). What is the advantage of using these instead of the plain .tar.bz2 files?
