What I do from my e mail server is to make the file /etc/mail/access (used by sendmail) and in the file called access, you can bounce mail that you don't want, for example my /etc/mail/access file reads liek the one below, however please note that some of the addresses are obscured to protect people, not all on my list are poopybottoms, some are just annoying me temporarily, but from the addresses, ip numbers, or hostnames you can get a jist of the format, but then again, if not, please mail me back and ask me for help like from who do you want to bounce mail back to and stuff.
The lines that say ERROR: in them will bounce mail back I think, then you can put in the standard error message or you can think up one of your own razzes hehehe. # Check the /usr/share/doc/sendmail-8.11.6/README.cf file for a description # of the format of this file. (search for access_db in that file) # The /usr/share/doc/sendmail-8.11.6/README.cf is part of the sendmail-doc # package. # # by default we allow relaying from localhost... localhost.localdomain RELAY localhost RELAY 127.0.0.1 RELAY [EMAIL PROTECTED] RELAY [EMAIL PROTECTED] RELAY xxxxxxx@ RELAY kittypuss.org OK [EMAIL PROTECTED] ERROR:"550 We don't accept mail from stupid XXXXXXXXXX like you" mail-out.namezero.com ERROR:"550 I hate namezero" [EMAIL PROTECTED] ERROR:"550 Sorry, I don't like auto-replyers" pickabooger.cec.eu.int ERROR:"550 Sorry, I don't like auto-replyers" [EMAIL PROTECTED] ERROR:"550 shove your stupid virus" [EMAIL PROTECTED] ERROR:"550 Please stop spamming me" mm-outgoing-104.amazon.com ERROR:"550 Please stop spamming me" 202.123.31.186 ERROR:"550 Spam has been rejected."
