Did you try LPRng or PDQ? just call printerdrake and choose expert mode and those are available to you. Leave lpd strictly alone. We excluded it because it has severe security issues as well as many limitations. If you have the printer directly connected to your computer, PDQ is probably the best choice. Civileme
