Hello:

I have been trying to install pilot-link into my lm8.0 system. After
installing the appropriate files from the distro cd's, I keep getting an
error saying it could not find the device. I have a PalmIII, whose cradle
is connected to my pc via a serial to usb interface. I read what little
documentation came with Pilot-link, and again, each time I execute the
command "pilot-xfer -l" I get a "device not found" error. I set up a link
between usb0 and /dev/pilot with no luck.

I was told the necessary drivers might not be installed. If so, how would
I go about finding out if they are installed. If they are installed, what
then am I doing wrong? In the event they are not installed, can somebody
point me in the direction on how to install the drivers? Specifically,
some sort of document with instructions and also, how would I go about
finding out the names of the drivers needed? Thanks in advance.

Dexter
