Thanks, Ivan, but that one only previews already *installed* fonts. Now if 
I have a cdrom with a 1000 fonts on it I suppose I could install them all, 
pray that the fontserver can take the load,  and uninstall the ones I 
don't want.  A font viewer for *uninstalled* fonts seems a kinder, gentler 
solution ...
