mmm not much of a help with this problem but maybe try to use gaim. i use that with 8.1 and i find it far superior as now i can talk to friends on icq/msn/aim with no dramas at all. i was getting all kinds of lil glitches with licq on 8.1 but i did have it running on 8.0. unfortunately i cant actually remember what i did to make that happen sorry. mikecola "...Who's the big winner tonight...?
