Andy, in your "/etc/lilo.conf" edit (as root) the append-line : append=" hdc=ide-scsi hdd=ide-scsi devfs=mount " or something like that, depending of what hd(x) is your CD-rom. Save the file and issue the command : "lilo" to let the kernel know the changes. Then reboot and start using XCDroast, Kreatecd or whatever. Kaj Haulrich
