Umm, just to clear things up here... the so-called ICQ2000 protocol is in actual fact Oscar, and that is the exact same prototol for AIM. So when you suggest to load the plugin for ICQ you are technically doing things the hard way. The fact is that it is now so far that in GAIM you do not have to load any plugin for ICQ, as you just add an account using the Oscar protocol, but with your ICQ number in the place of your Username. The plugin should have been removed some time back as it is misleading... and although it works (sometimes not too well)) it's totally unneccesary.
