My thoughts, more or less. My real gripe is less with Front Page
(full version) as with Front Page Express, which, unless things have
changed recently, doesn't give you the option of choosing your HTML
version and will by default include non-standard MS tags (pretty much
like the "Save as HTML" option in Word). Front Page Express is
responsibly for most of the unreadable HTML on the web (with Netscape
composer 4* accounting for the rest). In my more paranoid moments, I
suspect that this was a deliberate move on MS's part - serious web
designers would buy the full version or use something else, while
Express users probably wouldn't be aware of how awful their pages
looked in other browsers because they only use IE: "I mean, I even
went to the trouble of putting 'Best viewed with Internet Explorer
5.2' on the site, and some people still complain that it doesn't look
good in Opera!" ;-)
