Hi,
Here's an interesting one. I am the only member of a large organization
using linux. LM8.1 to be exact and I use KMail as my email client. The
network is NT4 and Win2k. I am reasonably comfortable at email settings and
there is nothing bizarre or out of the ordinary with my email settings. The
only special being that I do not prefer html.

A colleague tries to send me email attachments ( .doc extensions ) but all I
get is a blank message. There is no attachment.

To test, I booted into Win2k ( also installed on my laptop ) and I can
receive the attachment just fine.

One more thing, I believe that the colleague is using 'Groupwise' software
as it is the latest initiative from our 'enlightened' IT department. That's a
whole other story!

Is there an issue with Groupwise communications? Is there a setting that I
am missing to 'enable' attachments from this person? Is there a setting in
the 'Security' section that I may have to alter? ( security in KMail is at
default setting )

Thanks and regards,
Bill W.
