No, don't copy it.  vmlinuz is only a link.  if you do: "ls -l /boot"
you'll see vmlinuz pointing to another image.  If it's the wrong one,
you can change where it's pointing by deleting vmlinuz and using the
command: "ln /boot/filename /boot/vmlinuz" where filename is the name of
the new image.

Config - dunno, but I bet it's important! ;-)
