I'm not trying to be rude here but you may have phrased the question a bit
differently. I think I know what you're asking for, but they "way" you asked
is like asking how to push the gas peddle in your car to make it go. Linux
and PERL go together like peanut butter and jelly, hence the strange and
maybe harsh replies you may/have gotten to this post.

here's an example of how to "test" a script for syntax correctness. you take
it from there.

        perl -c filename.pl
                
                or

        perl -c filename.cgi
