Hmm, I think there are many ways to do it ... you can take a look at KDE's control center. Access it through the k icon on the bar at the bottom of screen. If you installed it from rpm, you could also try typing "rpm -qa | grep kde" without the quotes in a terminal. You will get a list of packages, probably related to kde, and they might have the version number as part of their extensions. Hope it helps you.
