Hi! I just bought an old Dell XPS 180n with 98 MB Ram. It works great with win98. I tried to install Mandrake 8.1 with a floppy disk contaning the cdrom.img. It loads the floppy but then I see that my monitor loses the connection with the computer (that is it turn black and gets ofline) and the cdrom doesn�t spin either. I know the CD and the floppy disk are ok, they worked great with my new computer. Does anyone got any suggestion about what could be wrong?
