Hello all,
I hope you can help with this one :-)) I am very new to linux -
installed Mandrake 8.0 yesterday on a 550mHz athlon system. All has gone
smoothly so far except for audio. The SBLive driver seems to be installed
and is in the hardware list in KDE, but I get no sound, and the mixer window
is empty. It looks like I have to do something else, but am not sure what!
I've trawled through help pages on the web, but I'm not expert at Unix
command line stuff <yet> :-)). Please could someone help, or point me to an
'idiots guide' to get my card going?
