Morning all, I run Mandrake Linux 7.2, at least I try. Ever since I installed the programs on the update disk, Linuxconf has been broken.
Yesterday I used Mandrake update to install a newer version. Run from the Gnome menu, nothing happens. If I run it from a terminal, I get the following output: "[graham@graham graham]$ /sbin/linuxconf & [1] 934 /sbin/linuxconf: error in loading shared libraries: libgd.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" It would seem that the above mentioned file either comes with a library update that I haven't got yet, or it's not in my path (never been very good with paths). What should I do now? Please don't suggest getting LM 8.2. I neither have, nor can afford the extra RAM to make it run smoothly and in any case it took long enough to get this version running halfway decently. Thanks. -- Graham Watkins For me, morning begins when I realize that the soft warm body curled up next to me is a cat. (Kinky Friedman - Frequent Flyer)
