To install an rpm, the real easy way until you learn your way around some, is to su to
root and launch kpackage.
Then from a filemgr drag the rpm you wish to install and drop it in the right window
payne and click install.
Using rpm from the console.
I want to install help-1.1-1mdk.rpm.
I su to root and enter
rpm -ivh help-1.1-1mdk.rpm
