OK if he's got a Compaq, get the FCC ID # *tiny little # on the mobo
that is tough to find...sometimes on the back of them, ARGH!*

Then search for the "searchable FCC ID Database".  It will list every
single pieceo of equipment made with an FCC #.  Try it! It works ;p

Great for IDing old hardware.
Failing all that, throw out the mobo & comp with it.  Get a new one not
from compaq :P
