I don't think that's it. I don't have any trouble with any other CD's. I have an old Ricoh 4X burner that has a max read speed of 20X. It's worked perfectly with everything else. I believe that I have bad hardware, or just a combination of stuff that doesn't work. I'll try 8.1 again. If that fails, I'll probably be looking at a new motherboard. Thanks for all of your help.
