" src " means it's not compiled. it's the source. if you install a src RPM, then you have to cd into it's directory and compile it. anyway, if this is the case, i suggest downloading a tar.gz for source. i think it's less confising that way. i remember compiling cdrtools a while ago.. you probably won't find any problems.
