Unfortunately, the only way I know of to do this is with the "Dave" software from Thursby Systems (www.thursby.com), which is not free (it's priced on the web site at around $150 USD). We've used this software at work to allow Macs to connect to our Windows-based network. I didn't use it with Samba, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. You may not want to pay the money, but I thought I'd mention it in case. - Kathy
