You could redo the setup of LM & Just not pick packages from there
except for the Gnome desktop.

OR... alternatively & safer, use the Package Manager or Software
manager<?> to pick Gnome.

Look under teh Desktop Environments (or a similar heading) for it.  That
will install all the deps & such
