Sounds like your computer requires a different keystroke to enter the BIOS at power up. The del key is the most common and usually works for clones, but name brand computers like yours often require you to press a different key to get into the BIOS. Take a good look at the boot message upon power on; most manufacturers tell you there what key to press to get into the BIOS.
