   As with most all things in Linux, there's several ways. I do it in 
a terminal, su to root, and type 'mcc'.  That'll bring up Mandrake 
Control Center with root aurthority. Then click on  'System' , then 
'Services' and check the 'info' buttons before you shut off somethin 
you might need ;*
